he was sixteen when he went to MIT though.
He wasn't really into alcohol, but it would be awkward to refuse, and it was a great way to socialize, as his years in college attested.

the living tribunal is alive though.
Of today's artefacts, none that were powered by the old array system exist anymore either, as the moment the forger died, the artefact lost it's power, and was destroyed. So even the most powerful magical artefacts nowadays, such as his Ebony Sword, the Staff of the Living Tribunal and other artefacts of this calibre were only made with 'weaker' arrays.

wasn't there cultivators in marvel ? I'm pretty sure they had a sort of pantheon too, based in India or China.
He wasn't too worried though, he was pretty sure that, as always, he was a pioneer on this path, and he would have to persevere to advance.

doesn't he have spiritual sense? in a small radius it should be much better than most equipment.
And when it did, the bark defended itself. A hint of Chi tried to fight against Edward's Chi, but it was quickly crushed. Actually, this happened so quick Edward himself hadn't seen it, but thanks to the equipment he later did.

a pure concentration of energy is just matter.
What he found out, was that Chi was really an energy. However, it went against the laws of science as he knew them, as it's properties were not something should have. It wasn't just a pure concentration of power, it was something more special.

Inside the room, he saw Arthur, standing in front of a round table with twelve seats around it, one of which was a throne. The king was pulled out of his thoughts as the door opened, and as he saw Edward he said "Brave Warrior, we finally get to really talk to each other."

more like swamp thing.
School of the Guardians, a very similar school to the School of Champions, with the difference being the magic users were selected by elements rather than higher beings, and were often selected for protection of said element.
