The author does really well writing the FL's depression and anxiety. Also, there's really good character design and l felt bad that the FL had such a bad relationship with her mom. Usually l don't read these kinds of werewolf books primarily because of cliches and terrible writing but this book is different. I can confidently say that l will definitely be reading this more and everyone else should too!
Sorry what? She slept with someone who had a gf? Kinda disappointing
Jaw out here looking like a razorblade
So this book is so so different but l like it! There's more dialogue than there is descriptive writing but somehow l still knew who was talking and understood everything clearly. I feel so so bad for Hugo and after reading, l understand why he was forced to make that promise. The writing is really good and flows well. I really want to see how Hugo progresses! Well done!
I already guess that either Silas or this guy are gonna be the ML - it would be interesting if l'm wrong
Ok so when l read the synopsis, l was super excited because it was well written and it made me want to read the book very much. But after reading the book, l was slightly disappointed. The book is written quite well and the world background was the normal mafia city trope. But what made me disappointed was the characterisation of the ML. There's absolutely no way that l can accept the pure and lovely FL getting with a man who kidnapped her and was a stalker. Giving justification for the kidnapping by saying her father sold her was just not enough of a reason to make me like the ML. I feel like he just took advantage of the situation to take the FL. If the ML wasn't like that, l would defo have given a higher rating because he was the only complaint l had.
pervert alert! If this is the ML, that would be really bad. There's no way the FL would have stockholm syndrome right?
The FL is really interesting and unique - it's very amusing to see her find so many things troublesome. I also like the intro for the ML - how can he be so innocent but everyone thinks he's a murderer? The author has set up the scene so well and l can't wait to keep reading more!
I really like how fast-paced the writing is and unlike most system novels, there is so much realism. I thanked God that the ML wasn't some badass secret agent who could just immediately twist people's necks after chapter 1. It's nice to see that the ML is reacting like a normal person would. Anyways, the writing is good and the whole story flows well! I've been on the edge of my seat because of all the mystery so l defo recommend.
