It gives a vibe of Seren and Drayace... but no aren't normal at any sense
The book was a tale of romance between royalty of two warring nations. The story started with the newly-crowned king having to marry a tribute princess of a neighboring kingdom that was defeated in the war. The princess had no choice but to comply despite not wishing to marry him to guarantee the lives of her family. She hated the king of the enemy kingdom since he was the root cause of her suffering, but then she gradually fell in love with him after their marriage. She learned what kind of person he was, and he too tried to make amends for his shortcomings. It was a journey of her feelings, from hating to loving her husband, and at the end, they both led a good life together. - Angelic_Evil1yrCommented

She was nervous now. Of course. There was a huge wolf right there now, inside her room. Though it was really beautiful, it kind of reminded her of Sebastian. seren's father is a human and her mom has purple eyes.... again draven and dryace is related... it's pretty complicated... sometimes I feel like author wanted TDCW is a sequel with same couple's (eshter's) different lifetime. but it still not. Draven hated people of megaris.. so he is in either before or after Dryace's story.. most probably before.... cz if not devil married a witch who ruled most powerful kingdom should be known for centuries even if it became a taboo draven should know. It's kind of eshter had 3 life times.... in last one she had dryace...... but only author knows if it is eshter why she tortured theoron like helll..... again purple eyed woman..... it could be any ancestor of seren.... if they are linked with each other it would be easier to pass ashrin flower mark to seren.... my idea..... but author surprise us...
