Because u have to actually apply a force to reapply it. With a gun it isn’t you applying the force just the weapon itself. A bow you are pulling it back to apply the force

This take actually makes sense in his world. I generally don’t like it when fanfics try to push ideologies within their books specifically those tied to politics but this kinda makes sense within the work, ass the Mc comes from a place where control over your desires and impulses just don’t exist and thus people would be killing no matter how hard it is to do so
