Mate, he was using the most powerful shielding magic he had available. Of course.

Nathan grunted, it made sense, a child could harm themselves greatly if they used magic without supervision, so the request was not at all wrong, but he wanted to get the basic charms done so that he could work with the spell he had created as fast as possible.

He is. But even good people can contemplate doing bad things. Doesn't mean he will do it.

'Since I don't think I can get away with killing Potter and saying he was a Horcrux which would make me the enemy of both Voldemort and Wizarding Britain. I can't do anything other than wait for Tom to hit the boy with an AK to the face so that I or Dumbles can finish the psychopath.'

Against the average wizard that can't sense magic? Definitely. Against someone who has basic magic sensitivity? They will feel Nathan's movement and arrival.

He had not exposed anything other than a massive talent for duelling and spellwork which might raise some eyebrows but it still was not enough to set off any alarms.

The majority of people not agreeing with an idea does not make it backward. A large majority of people believed that the germ theory was false.

Nathan thanked Albus Dumbledore in his mind for his strict no-hitting or no-magical punishment policy. A policy that was actually very unpopular among most of the parents, whether they be magical or non-magical. Nathan could hardly care about their backward opinions and he was positive that if Dumbledore had not put the policy in place, then a staff like Snape or Filch would have definitely tried to hit him eventually, especially in his later years at Hogwarts, and would come to regret their decision dearly.

Imagine it this way. Apparition= I want to get there immediately. Flash step= I want to cover this large distance in a single step. Flash step is slower to execute than apparition and it requires clear line of sight to work.

Enchantments. You can think of wards like a web of several Enchantments that are connected to a single wardstone which can be used to manipulate all of them directly without even interacting with the enchantments themselves.

A|N: Did you know that there was no mention of warding in canon Harry Potter?

Avada Kedavra does not leave a physical trace but it translates to something along the lines of 'I will destroy as I speak.' The spell also destroys any non-living object it hits

Nathan sighed as he observed his housemates engaged in a heated debate about the selection of the seven members who would accompany Jones on their mission. His- hopes for a peaceful reconciliation had been shattered, much like an Avada Kedavra striking its target, due to the fierce rivalry between the Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors. To make matters worse, it felt as if destiny had added a Cruciatus to the mix, with the entire house now vying for a spot in the game.

The beatdown was so bad that Nathan felt bad for the Scotts. Surprisingly, Nathan had even seen a very angry Minerva McGonagall hurling insults at both the Canadians and the Scottish. The Canadians were being jeered for winning while the Scotts were being berated for winning.

The trace only exists around areas where a muggleborn lives and only after they first start attending Hogwarts

Nathan had initially contemplated acquiring a traditional firearm, but after carefully considering both wizarding and Muggle laws, he decided to go for a flare gun. While it occupied a legal grey area, it wasn't strictly illegal. Acquiring it had necessitated the liberal use of the Confundus Charm to persuade a suspicious store owner to sell a flare gun to a ten-year-old, but Nathan considered it magic well spent.

You need to remember that this is a medieval society. If someone as influential as Dumbles suggests something like that for Nathan's 'safety' then he will have to do it.

bro are you perhaps in a mathematics oriented field? Because I don't think I could have explained it better.

Finally and perhaps most importantly, the reason that the Fiendfyre can burn through the limitless spell is because they are eternal and despite limitless being said to manifest infinity, it only divides space infinitely(Yes, there is a difference). I did not do it to nerf the mc but to show that there is magic that can and will break through his 'perfect defence' and that while OP he still is kept in check by the laws of magic and the limitations of the spells themselves.

Things finally shifted once more with Merlin or Myrridin Emrys who was born in 981 AD and died in 700 AD. His age at the time of his death was unknown but it is said that he had lived for at least three hundred years.

    fairly accurate.

In the world of magic, a wand was a wizard's most prized possession. Even with their exceptional powers, wizards relied on their wands to channel and focus their magic. Though wandless magic existed, it was notoriously unreliable. The thought of attempting it in combat would be considered reckless and foolish.
