I agree with how realistically there is nothing shirou can do to save Sakura as for the trauma I kinda hope you don't give shirou serious trauma, I do wonder if the trauma will be from seeing the future (specificlally shinji as that would make shirou less trusting of people as well as making him trust his instincts to a higher degree). outside of that if shirou lack's the naivety the original had as well as made him more strategic with better od/mana regeneration (as that seems to be the path you are taking to deal with shirou's mana problem's l) I can definitely see shirou having a large advantage in the grail war as all it's master's weren't that problematic (outside of caster).

great chapter , and I like how you are going with the story and I'm quite interested to see how you will make shirou react when his visions start showing the future , especially with shinji and Sakura , and I can see shirou trying to save Sakura when he gets the vision but most interesting would be his approach as it seems as if he will be far more strategic compered to the original.

cool I kinda thought the mc will have a doul origin, also something that I hope you use in the story is how there doesn't seem to be a limit to how skilled a person can become with a weapon and it shouldn't be limited to past era's and it was disappointing how no one in fate but Sasaki kojirou is shown to become powerful through skill alone as even with his quite weak stats(for a servent) and average weapon he can match high tier survants , and if you want a idea of one skill shirou can gain (because of his sixth sense that allows him to see through time) is Sasaki's ability from record of Ragnarok as it's powerful but not invincible and something that can assist in shirou's overall growth.
