Read books
so it begins
My dude I love the different perspectives of other characters as it gives more flavor to the story but there's a time and place to put it in especially when the story is in the very climax of an arc or something. It takes the reader out of the experience. Everyone was waiting for the ball to drop and when it finally did, you decide to blue ball the audience by not giving the aftereffects of Aqua getting stabbed and instead give an equivalent to a flashback. The Miyako and Hikaru interludes were nice but just add them AFTER everyone's reaction to Aqua getting stabbed. Honestly this just reminds me of the Naruto Shippuden anime where things are finally getting good, they decide to drop filler episodes (flashbacks) in the middle of the climax.
If anyone wants to read this note that there is NTR in this story. Author tries to make a better version of Rudy but cucks him when his love interest gets pregnant by his father. The story had potential but the Author tries to follow the OG story and makes it somehow worse. Honestly I suggest you just read the OG Mushoku Tensei if you haven't already rather than this trash. OG has a near irredeemable MC but tries his best to become a better person and gets rewarded if he does and gets punished if he reverts. This story rewards a normal otaku OC being a good person by cucking him.
This be the most unrealistic thing in this story so far only because the teachers here are using common sense. If this happened in the real world, teachers would suspend the bullied person straight away because of 'eScALatING'.
MC:
C'mon Lexy you're better than this. Didn't you say it's not worth it to research on him anymore? You're just putting urself on a sunk cost fallacy.
Typical Constantine. Making the situation worse just by being there.
This line just seems unnecessary. The dragon was more or less respectful to the MC for the entirety of the fight so at least give respect to it. This line just makes it feel out of place and makes the MC feel like a Xianxia character
+1 Mc is in Japan so guild should be japanese named
One of the most disappointing fics I've had the displeasure of reading. I stayed with the story even though there are glaring plot holes in it due to the author not playing the pokemon games but that was fine. The MC's team has half of his pokemon team that are legendaries and mythical pokemon yet having trouble with some gym leaders but still I was fine with that. The last straw was 40+ chapters in that it suddenly became a discount Xianxia novel that I had to close my mouth to stop vomiting. Like making Oak and Ash evil even though there were no hints of it even the previous chapters? Hell the last chapter before the reveal, Ash was friendly with the MC but became salty, whiny and arrogant in the next chapter. The author even double down on his decision even though the sudden change in tone and personalities of Ash, Misty and Oak is weird and immersion breaking. So if anyone likes Xianxia in pokemon where the author destroys the personalities of Ash and Co and Oak then this is the story for you. The only good thing the story has is probably the consistent updates but if the story is trash so it just shoots out garbage eveyday.
