I was pleasantly surprised by this novel. It gives similar vibes to "Perfect Secret Love: The Bad New Wife is a little Sweet", my perennial favourite. A cold hunk of a top CEO, devoted only to his superheroine wife. If you have been suffering from PSL withdrawal, this is a must read.

I love this storyline. I've read the book. Looked forward to the manga. But it seems the translation (especially for later chapters) has been getting worse and worse... oftentimes I'm not understanding what is being said. This book needs much better translation to match the quality of the manga.

In Mandarin which I presume is the original language of this novel, eating tofu is a slang which means to molest or touch inappropriately.

I am soooo happy to have come across this novel. Been an absolute pleasure reading every chapter, am totally amazed at the creativity of the author in spinning such a rich tale that incorporates modern life into a kungfu classic, sweet romance, lots of genius laugh-out-loud comic moments, some sad tears, but 100% coolness all round! Absolute treat... Wish it can be turned into a drama serial, would love to watch it 🥰
