Also. Since he's becoming more accepting of his identity as a supernatural. You could make him stay in his werewolf form more often, or even permanently. Basically expresses his humanity, or lack of, by his physical appearance.
You know...author. I hope Rex changed after this. He will quit the "humanity good, supernaturals bad" mentality for good. Instead, he would slowly grow into an absolutely unhinged and cynical psychopath. That would be fun. I'm not sure what direction are you going for. But if I were Rex, I would be the same. You can only go through so much before you just break. I just think it's interesting to change the character like this so it change the mood of the story to a more serious and heavier tone. Anyways, that's just my two cents. You keep doing what you think is right. I'm just too invested in this story and wanted to express my thoughts badly.
Flunra is warming up to me. I like him so much. I felt really bad when he was treated with aggression when he joined the pack because before that, as Arnulf, he was just an annoying OP antagonist. And now, he did more than any other characters in contributing to MC's character development tbh.
Funnily enough, I actually kinda hope the opposite. Not entirely opposite. But basically, what I kinda hope for is Rex slowly growing to learn that there are good and bad from all sides. And he will slowly be the one who unify both. Honestly, I could see the future of the story going like this: either Rex will be the 'villian' and all races united to end him or he's going be the one who unite all races. With the way the author have been writting, I have been feeling like all race will be united at the end. I dont know. It's just my interpretation afterall.
