It's been long since I ever said this about a book, but the writing style drew me in immediately. I love love love Milo and Nori's story, and will be checking out more of this author's works.
“One last thing,” Lucy says. “Under no circumstance are you allowed to get involved with Gray in any way that isn’t his assistant, you understand? It’s forbidden to get involved with our clients.”
She licks her lips and waves her hand in the air as if trying to summon the right words. “Gray Wilder is how you say… a handful. Sometimes he isn’t easy to work with and there might be times you want to rip your hair out – trust me, I feel that way a lot – so you need to keep your head on straight and give this your all, otherwise, he’s going to eat you alive.”
I look over at the television to see the same Blood Ink concert playing that Ava has now seen eleven times. I roll my eyes and retrieve my water bottle from the fridge. “I don’t understand why you’re so obsessed with Gray Wilder. He has scandals coming out of his a*s and you think he’s God’s gift to this earth.”
As soon as I saw that Juliette's mother wanted her to be a doctor instead of an actress, I was sold😂😂. (And I'm making my mom read this, too.)
It's so goodddddd because everything about it is relatable and swoonworthy.
I've always known this author can write a great book, but she has definitely outdone herself this time. *gives 70 million stars.*
Sammy is completely relatable and Leo is swoonworthy, jsyk.
I love how the heroine is not afraid of her feelings for the hero. I can already tell she's going to be a badass. Wonderful start to a wonderful story. I can't wait to read some more!
