it's because Excelia is only gained through crafting or killing. Practice refines technique but usually doesn't count towards stats in the case of martial abilities.
Forgot to add It feels like the multiverse is there to temporarily make the reader excited wondering what they'll do only to do nothing. It's like that Markiplier meme with the back rooms, hey look it's 40k jingle jangle jingle oh is that star wars? jingle jangle jingle halo? you know halo jingle jangle jingle only to barely touch on them at all.
90% of the book is upgrading a ship or the MC, it's can be summed up as and then it was made bigger and better then hung out with wives and kids and then MC got bigger and better. The Multiverse is barely explored which it begs the question of why bother with the multiverse if your going to leave even the verse your in almost untouched.
If I had to sum up the series so far I would simply say that it's mundane and boring. The MC is a touch overly cautious and it's feels constrained, with a world like Teyvat your hoping to see a grand adventure but so far the world has barely been explored and doesn't seem to want to expand on that. The relationship building is fine I guess but the girls so far get a a cycling of very short windows that you don't get to experience much of their characters like it's a speed dating session. The system is ok but due to how the story is written it's hard to be excited because your reminded time and time again that sure it's cool but Visions seem to be superior which bogs down the excitement, your also reminded that the MC is not the Traveller so they doesn't get access to unique abilities either like fast travel and empowering from the Statues of Seven. I can say I'll keep reading this in hopes that this is just the prelude and at some point it'll start to pick up as it's not completely unejoyable but it won't be my first pick when I'm looking for something to read.

I've tried reading a few of the Author's works and everytime the romance/relationship aspect turns uncomfortable. Also of course people are pairing Mordred and the MC together you have a romance and harem tag and fool around with each other what kind of conclusion are people supposed to make? like "oh he went down on her and they've learnly shown chemistry I doubt anything's going on there they can't possibly be together."
love Reborn as a Space Merc it was one of the first series I bought physical copies.
This FF is pretty mediocre, the MC has little to no presence changing almost none of the main story. His quick is stagnant and constantly is outdone yet everyone keeps saying he's better than most pro heroes. Honestly I'd rather just go read MHA on its own because this FF just feels like bloat that adds literally nothing of interest.
it's because this is stolen from A Cliche Multiverse Story
Looking good can't wait to see where this goes.
