Arcane symbols appeared below Zell's feet and a bright light emanated from them. The light grew and expanded until it completely engulfed the duo. Inside Zell's mind his memories came crashing back to him. He remembered his life as Gary, his family, his children, his grandchildren, he remembered all of it. His years of hard labor. All the choices he had made good and bad. He could feel all the emotions he once felt as if it were the first time. I felt the love he had for his wife. He felt the paternal instincts and pride towards his children. As his life flashed before him, he was filled with joy and happiness. Until he reached his retirement. He relived the moment of discovery of his families' corpses. Great pain and anguish replaced any other feeling. And he screamed out in unbearable pain. "No! My Family!" He yelled. Okay, I guess the right way to put it is "the slightest blunder in my act would force me to take the exam, and since I can't read or write, my results wouldn't be good enough even for the worst school ever.
So Jason made up his mind and decided to continue to let everyone believe that he was still blind by faking it until the exam ended. The slightest blunder would make him write the theoretical exam normally. That would destroy his dream of attending the worst possible high school at the least. - _Feanor_1yrCommented
I'm trying very hard to see this and the next paragraphs about women as the MC's opinion, and not the author's. But for some reason I'm inclined to believe both the author and his MC never had the company of a 20-year old woman. They are fine, bro. They are just fine.

As someone said in this thread, there's no way for a game to be competitive as long as million-dollars gear is available for purchase. EA and other companies are heavily criticized for less.
Being an extremely popular game, good balance was of the utmost important. While big spenders did have certain advantages, it was not so unfair to the extent that it displeased the casual players. "A yukata 'lit. bathrobe' is an unlined cotton summer kimono, worn in casual settings such as summer festivals or nearby bathhouses." So yeah, not a fighting garment. For dojo practice, you wear a keikogi, or gi for short.

He better hope the "system" is a gift. If I was granted a system, the first thing I would want to know is who bestowed it upon me.

With this, I was a little saddned, but what they had said made sense. I decided that I would take this opportunity to learn about the world. Afterall knowledge was key for me. There were many things I needed to find out and perhaps this would give me my answers. - _Feanor_1yrCommented
I'm not against cliffhangers. But in this case the author uses it as a means to beg for power stones. It doesn't even feel like the author enjoys writing.

It took me some time to realize this is a Lit-Dungeon Crawler novel, but now that I did, I'm finally enjoying it. Earning ridiculous amount of money, having everlasting stamina and being able to rush through a 30 floor dungeon reminds me of my Diablo days, so it's relatable to me, at least. I'd be grateful if Author-san would let me know that first-hand, though. I wasn't expecting respawning monsters and such.
I realized the pain of normal hunters and why most of them only dived into dungeons once or twice at most a day. Me rushing down while mowing enemies left and right still required me to spend a few minutes on each floor. There being so many floors and monsters, the hunters in a party had to put their lives on the line to kill monsters on each floor while resting to recover their energy and heal up right after - _Feanor_1yrCommented
Okay so this is a Diablo-type novel where monsters keep spawning no matter how many times you clear a dungeon. And MC is a cheater who can have passive/channeling skills working non stop, INCLUDING IN HIS SLEEP. Yeah, let's hope he doesn't find passive skill books that increase his stats, or he's gonna crash the server.

A quick description, like "a dark-skinned man with a scar on his left eye, a blond man with a long nose and a fair skinned man with long hair" would be much better than "Hunter A, B and C".

I'm giving this novel an overall 4 because for it to deserve a 5 it would require at least Solo Leveling or The Beginning After the End quality. There are a few grammar flaws which are excusable since the writer is not a native speaker, but a little care goes a long way so I would advise a full revision. About the plot, it's your basic weak to strong isekai trope, but it's got merits. It's engaging and keeps you interested. Worth reading.

Now that you mention it, they do have similarities. Kurou's personality is a bit darker, though. Jack Sparrow is the best!
Kurou laughed together with them, a fake laughter that made all of them stop and look at him with an inquisitive face. As soon as they stopped laughing, Kurou looked at the guy who was talking about the assault and asked in a loud voice.
