Princess Romilia Kano, the adopted crowned princess of the Kano Empire, didn't have the best reputation among her people. She was rumored to be cunning, rude, strong, anti-social and sadistic, and the day of a horrifying incident didn't gain her any favor from her people either. It rather scared them. They knew that if they were to ever cross her, then they would regret it in the worst way possible. So, what if you had to accompany and protect a monster like her to a journey that you might not come back from, especially since your family had pledged loyalty to her family for generations? It'd be a truly unfortunate fate. Well, Damien Klaus was the loyal knight who was unfortunate enough to be given this responsibility. He didn't like Romilia, but that was because of his own personal reasons, and the rumors may have influenced it too but who knows. He had a suspicion that she was a trained assassin who wanted to get rid of the Kano family. And that wasn't the only reason. She had sneaked up on him, doubted his intellect as a knight multiple times, and even... Well, let's not get into that now. Let's just say that everything about Romilia; her stares, her smiles, the way she talked and the way she was always observing the environment around her; made him feel uneasy.
