Don't be too harsh on Xavier. He's not had the courage to defend himself before. Thanks to character development, he'll become stronger and more self aware.

Xavier is developing as a character. He's finally achieving comfort in his own skin. Very soon, he might be courageous enough to cause untold chaos.
The creatures kept on pouring around him in waves of mangled, skeletal phantoms, their heart-wrenching screams almost unbearable to hear, but Xavier never relented. The void is infinite in its powers and possibilities. Xavier has the chance to become the most powerful being in the universes. He only has to do one thing...that'll be much later in the series.

He heard a soft whistling beside him and didn't need to look to know that Elsa was there. She placed her head close to his shoulder and the connection between them was ignited. Yes, Xavier is an albino. The only strange thing is that he is the first of such on planet Lazuli.
But he knew deep down that all that would still not be enough. He would forever be the freak boy with pale, almost transparent skin, snowy white hair and vivid pink eyes. Lazuli had never seen anything like him before. And no one failed to show that fact the moment they saw him. - Percy_Seacrest5mthReplied to David_info
