And magic- that's the real kicker, though I still didn't have much improvement power wise or even in control, I finally have a theory of how to become a Metamorphmagus. Well thank you for reminding me about radiation. Yes a high dose of radiation will cause an ionization of your molecules structures (enzymes, proteins, DNA, ...) this will proceed in a falling of your organs and death. But this process take from hours to a day or two. So you will not be able to seat in a hospital for long enough to know the nurse. This is DNA collapse. To compare, a smaller dose of radiation will damage your molecules structures and this will cause some issues with your organs but not death. Your DNA can regenerate or if it is to damaged it will make de the cell self destroy. So even if the damage is permanent you will still have a working DNA and so this wouldn't be a DNA collapse. A and the last thing, at smaller doses of radiation you have a higher chance of getting cancer. So in conclusion I can assume that this guy did not die from DNA collapse.
