I just started reading this but my guess is the necklace was the magic object that allowed her to go back in time. And since it was used, it vanished.
That necklace was nothing expensive. Its design was simple and old-fashioned. But it was a gift from her late mother. It was something that Rosalind had carried with her since she was five.

Good chapter. I still don't like Izekial though so it made it weird to enjoy. He nearly killed her and has done 0 to redeem himself. I suppose it works if you're going for a tragedy.
