Some people might argue that Chu Yun should have been empathetic all along, and I know that even he himself feels guilty for the way he behaved back then, but to that I say it’s not like Chu Yun was malicious in his behavior as that’s how most siblings usually are. Dismissive. We often don’t pay attention to when something is wrong until we start to see them act out, but even so, in what ways did Chu Hean give Chu Yun the opportunity when his first slight against him was to seduce his husband? It’s not like the two brothers were at odds before Chu Hean did this
Chu Hean really makes no sense to me. Chu Yun has never once thought of his brother as weak, and if his recalling of the past says anything, it's that he never understood why it was everyone else that was telling him his brother was weak and that they couldn't play as freely together as they grew older as they had before. After all, it wasn't Chu Yun that sent him away to a school for Omegas. Chu Yuns most offensive thought is not even thinking that Omegas are weak but in thinking that everyone has a role to play in society and like it or not, all you can do is make the best of it. Is it annoying to hear when you’re going through a crises? Yes, but it also isn’t wrong. Chu Yun married another alpha against everything in him, but he was always thinking of how he could come out on top. Chu Hean… you can’t expect for people to understand what you never explain, and I mean truly explain. All he’s done is cry about how unfair things are for him, and Chu Yun agreed because things have been unfair for himself, but he’s also reminded his brother that he’ll get through it. I don’t know, I just truly find Hean ridiculous
I really, really love and enjoy how these characters are written and how even though they have their own hiccups about their relationship or their reaction to their relationship, the other person’s feelings are never doubted. There are different types of love stories out there, but I think I have found one that is my exact cup of tea. Thank you author 🥰
Chu Hean makes no sense. He lies about his own engagement, and then gets mad with the way in which his brother tried to console him... Which wasn't even that bad. Saying that his marriage ended up not being so bad considering the hateful thoughts he had going into it... How is that grounds to do what he's doing? And how can this be revenge when Chu Hean was scheming from the beginning by trying to use his heat to seduce an unsuspecting party?
Chu Hean is too much, and everyone thinking he’s pitiful because he’s an omega is ridiculous to me. From the moment he tried to seduce his brothers husband in the hot springs during his heat I have regarded him as calculative. Being an omega may put you at certain physical limitations, but he is proof enough that with a manipulative mindset, you could get away with most things.
