To be honest, even if he did kill Croc he put himself on a position where everyone would want a piece of him. He hasn't had to deal with Batman yet and by killing Croc it would turn the Dark Knight to come after him. I wouldn't put my faith in the system at that point since he has to level up to reach higher levels of power. He's playing it smart by waiting and getting stronger, he does not have the power to take on Batman and the rest of the Justice League. If he was somehow able to beat Bats, then the other Justice League would show up. They've done this before when he needed help besides the Batfamily.

Well that's certainly what it sounds like you're insinuating. Bullets will hurt, they will kill, and no matter what kind of armor that he wears he is still human currently. If you think just because of that coat he shouldn't have to worry about it bullets, then I suggest you put on a bullet proof vest and see how much it hurts to be shot or see how long it takes for that bullet to penetrate it. Smart people wouldn't let others find out how many bullets it takes for the bullet proof vest to not be penetrated.

That's like saying how all these military soldiers who wears bullet proof or bullet resistant armor shouldn't have to worry about bullets. Bullets still work, especially if you're dumb enough to people shoot you.

How many "normal guns" ends up doing the impossible and shooting through bullet proof stuff within DC? No seriously I'd like you to answer that question because Superhero universes DO NOT play by our rules. He's smart to he afraid of getting shot, because "normal guns" for them is not the same for us. If Batman, Catwoman, Lady Shiva, Green Arrow, and many others dodge bullets even though they either have bullet proof armor then what does that tell you? This is not our world, this is a universe with it's own rules. Either you get with that program or you don't. It's how people like Superman are so easy to shoot, because their arrogant enough to let you shoot them.

The next chapter is fairly long, so it will take a bit. It is more or less the beginnings for the new era.
