one of the many inspirations to frankenstein this novel is Soul Of Negary so Achilles' origin bares similarities to Negary. But they're not going to walk similar since I don't usually prefer a main character who is pure evil.

What happened to the crow is basically a physical manifestion of his connection to the creature. The rest related to how abilities work and it's a little unscientific. I won't go into details.
