So, if he has a heir prepare or a second in command capable to take the reings if he died in battle, haveing him in the front may be better.

Hmmmm i think Kamui has more utilitywhile this has more battle continuation. One is for a round fighter that can domire for the team than just fight, while the other is a pure dps whit self sustain , which let it take the form of a tank if needed, which kamui providetoo as an dodge tank vs a self healing one. Kamui seems better if you are a team player and This one if you are a solo vanguard kind of player.

Funny fact, Transformer prime directors did whatever the fuck they wanted whit the lore, BUT, the original creators of transformers wanted to creat a unifide continuity, a single lore, the 2 shooter games that came at that time, way for cubertorn and other one, were thechnicaly precuelse to prime, at the end the Prime series directors give them the middle finger and did whatever they wanted, but keep certain point of the games as canon lore, then there was the secuel and the paralel series to Prime, so yeah.....this endless flash back is unecesary and ruined the story long time ago
