Minecraft: The Command Block

[This Fic takes place in Minecraft: Story Mode from telltale.] Lance was just playing Minecraft during his two-week phase. After defeating the Ender Dragon, he closed his PC and headed to sleep, planning to start a different game the next day. Instead, he woke up inside the game, in a brand-new world. With no way home, he does the only thing that makes sense. He gathers materials, builds a house, gets some decent gear, and settles down. He isn’t interested in becoming some legendary hero. If this world is real, then he might as well enjoy it and take things slow. That plan works out pretty well. Until he reaches the End. The Ender Dragon is already dead. And someone has built a massive structure around the exit portal. Lance quickly realizes that something is wrong. There are people here, history he never knew existed, and things happening that were never part of the game. Then he crosses paths with Jesse and his friends. At first, Lance has no reason to care about their fight against the Wither Storm. That changes when he learns what’s powering it. A Command Block. “I always dreamed of saving the world.” — Lance
