Sorry, but in the first chapter not only does he *choose* to be Clark from the Smallville series, he gets speedforce and some eight. broken stuff too? eugh. I sometimes enjoy power fantasy stories, but this... just feels like something... is missing. Yes, the grammar is good, but... it doesn't *feel* genuine, in some way. Reading it feels bland. the fact that the MC thinks it's superior to ignore the scarecrow initiation in the second chapter, even if only in a mental musing, just *irks* me to no end. I like my boyscout superman, and that was an immediate "no" from me. and then they say that being tied up in a football field overnight needs therapy? I mean, yeah that's fucked up, but therapy? really?
