The MC is an OC and therefore has no actual knowledge of the future. It is not a SI. He doesn't know about Luna or her mother, you're mistaking another fic or whatever because at least here the only thing the MC knows is about the first book that was published by her grandmother and maybe the draft of the second one (but the latter is still not mentioned at least). And Pandora is only mentioned in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, so obviously the MC has no idea about her situation or possible future.

Must have got confused with some other fanfic of this genre. They all tend to be Self Insert so it's quite likely (although this one is quite different from all the others I've read)
