She's stated that she can't read anything about him through her Dormant ability, which is because he's [Fateless]. Her Awakened ability is perceiving time a few moments in advance. They're entirely different things, so I'm not sure why you think she can now suddenly read him out of nowhere.

I think there's a fundamental difference between the two, however. Sunny *with* the mask on is imperceptible to her, as if he isn't even there, as if the space itself has nothing of note. Whereas it seems like *without* the mask, he's visible as a void of space where a fate should be, as in she can tell that there's supposed to be something there, but not anything actually about it, only seeing a human-shaped hole.

Sunny had already pre-speculated that it would take Nephis around 2 weeks to reach him when he had learned she'd been sent (which was before he met Cassie again), so it's not coming outta' nowhere, this being 2 weeks later shouldn't be a major surprise. The Cassie 'Happy Birthday' cliffhanger is just something that's likely going to get flashbacked later. Trust in the process, G3's been dropping cliff-hangers for so long that I trust what he's planning with the Cassie one. :)

Following what the other guy said, since I noticed he didn't cover Soul Serpents rank: the snake is Transcendant as that's how many tiers of Shadow Dance that Sunny has unlocked (4th tier of Ascension = 4th tier of Shadow Dance), and it's a Terror simply because Sunny's also a Terror, it follows the same number of cores as he has. :)

His incarnations are essentially all his shadows given his own physical body, but they're all using his mind once he incarnates them; one mind between multiple bodies, experiencing & controlling all of them simultaneously. To a normal person, that'd be *incredibly* debilitating, but Sunny's just absurdly good at compartmentalizing his mind. Bro's built different. So, his main body is in Bastion, whilst also controlling his incarnation in the Nameless Temple fighting Nephis, as well as his other incarnation also exploring Ravenheart, at the same time, with one mind between them all.

Wouldn't that be a truth? It's true that Nephis can call him shadow. She is physically capable of speaking the word & addressing him that way. So, isn't him saying "You can call me Shadow" speaking the truth, which should be impossible for him thanks to the mask? Or am I getting mixed up, somewhere?

It's called Stockholm Syndrome, but from what I know it doesn't actually exist. Was created by police a psychologist to downplay a case where they *heavily* put a hostage at risk, more so than they had even been *as* a hostage to the dude that was holding her. The lady wanted to take them to court or something, so they came up with that to help silence the issue.
