Except they are in a difficult position people don’t understand how strong witchers are and having 3 huge gangs fear 5 dudes is a heavy hit in their reputation so they have to do something or their “business” would suffer

If the system suck in souls to power itself why does it not do it with souls nearby that he did not kill and if not why does the bloodstone not absorb it

I don’t think anyone would mind if the author upped the xp for a bs reason like a system upgrade and higher efficiency in absorbing whatever it absorbs or this guy will never get a power boost without a decent timeskip

This story is much better if you have no or minimal knowledge of the Witcher as some people here already know what is happening which takes away from the eeriness and mystery aspect even though the answers are obvious sometimes

If he joins a war and the author stopped nerfing him because no way in hell is a Witcher supposed to struggle even a bit against regular soldiers and with 20xp per kill nvm at this point he would need over 175 kills to level up each time

So far this system is pretty balanced sure it takes a long time to level up and does not give much stats but it’s true value lies in the skills because with each level he gets to upgrade a skill no matter the level so he can end up with incredibly busted skills and superior stats but it will take time

His EXP bar was 1590/1500, and a plus sign appeared after the bar, but he wasn't in a hurry to level up. He decided to keep Full Recovery as a trump card in case things went south — at least until they escaped the tunnels. The intense battles also trained him in his control over his stats, and he felt a massive improvement on that aspect. Roy could only utilize half of his body's capabilities before that, but after the battles in the tunnels, he could use sixty percent of them.
