I say go for it. you should sit down and think of the arcs, plot, skills, etc, and what you want to do/ happen if you haven't already. it helps you know, what direction you want to take a story, and helps prevent writer's block. Also, I suggest you have Naruto hunt for the food to reverse his negative effects. it will give him better skills in traping, and give him experience For hunting animals. different Jutsu would be cool to include in the story. nobody uses Jutsu like the "hidden mist Jutsu, dustless bewildering cover, Sharingan GenJutsu (for example, like how Kakashi used it against Zabuza,) and a lot of other Jutsu. Or you can look at the Fannon wiki for OC Jutsu. Different weapons like puppets, daggers, or the Chakra blade from Naruto: The Last Tower. Not to mention, I think a puppet fight against kankuro would be cool. especially if he used it like the kid from Boruto that fought against Sarada.
