I'll keep this in mind when writing vol 2

Chekhov's body was also experiencing progressive changes. His dark energy started melding into his bones, shifting within his skin. More noticeably, his pair of once sweet, caramel eyes had darkened into a pitch-black color. They were emitting a terrifying aura, only comparable to the depths of the Cosmic Abyss.

Mostly the wiki, although I have a friend who I ask sometimes. She has read the ln and is also writing a dxd fanfic

🤔I forgot about him, should have use him for this scene instead.

Large footsteps could be heard as a muscular woman approached the table. Her thick eyebrows, large stature, and double chin gave her a frightening look.

Rias is supposed to gradually become more cold after Koneko and Kiba's deaths but I agree this is too out of character. Maybe I'll revisit and fix things up.

Yep, he did devour him. He just has access to all his memories.

Looking back at the events from Taiheiyo Forest, why did Chekhov devour the boy, Kurou? Wouldn't this cause unnecessary troubles with law enforcement?

Chekhov appears as a 17-year-old male of Slavic descent, which is very different from Kurou.

No, in chapter 1 he transmigrated into the body of a human who was also named Chekhov.

I think you're misunderstanding Chekhov's character. I would recommend reading until the end of chapter 18 before deciding to drop.

I don't have a disciplined schedule, just doing this as a side hobby so I'm not sure myself. Based on my previous updates it takes me a week at best to finish a chapter.

I'm not too experienced in DxD but this was my genuine take on Rias' personality. At least the way I see it is that she was somewhat scheming before Issei changed her. All her peerage members were never given a choice and forced to become a servant under her. Even though she was helping them at their lowest moments, she forced them to become her servant afterward. I see her more as a neutral character, where after Koneko and Kiba's deaths, she slowly changes to become more selfish and logical. Furthermore, I've made a lot of the canon characters more logical that what they should be. For example, the Mittelt, Dohnaseek, and Kalawarna, never respected the power level of beings clearly far stronger than them in canon. They somehow thought that Raynare would be able to 1v1 Rias??? There's a lot of things in canon don't make sense to me and generally wouldn't fit in my story, so I'm planning to tweak them around as I see fit.

Reminder (Chapter 11): The four soul classifications are - complete soul, main soul, split soul, soul fragment.

"—and so, these 'Parasite Souls' and 'Impure Split Souls' are the two new soul classifications to our system."
