author taught me a new word "groused" it's been used before in this fic but I thought he just misspelled "groaned" but no groused meaning to complain pettily or grumble

The tranquility of the quiet autumn morning was shattered by the loud barks coming from my oldest friend. I was violently ejected from the very nice dream I was having, although I can't remember exactly what I was dreaming about. I am pretty sure there was a dragon in it though, and I was kicking it's ass. Nice!
