This has literally nothing to do with anyone being gay??? As a woman myself, I think any girl with self respect finds any guy that likes harems gross and a walking red flag. Men collecting women like trophies in general is just super objectifying. I don’t mind if MC has female companions if they aren’t there just for the sake of making MC look better and are actually well written characters that are important to the plot. Also, lots of straight guys don’t like harems. Some prefer no romance or just one girl or occasional romance subplots here and there etc. You can have great and beautiful female characters in a story without degrading/sexualizing them and turning it into a harem. If anything, things like that just ruin the plot for a lot of people. If you think only gay people don’t like something as morally ambiguous and story killing as harems then idk what to tell you at this point. Everyone has a different taste in genres in the first place so it’s silly to assume something like that.
The size of his heart ( ˘ω˘ )
I don’t care about the people but NOT THE DOGGOS D:
He seems overly aware of the fact that he’s the main character… always going on about what kind of main character he is and isn’t etc
This is the most predictable and redundant novel ever… I only read to chapter 55 before I couldn’t continue which is a shame bc the world building was quite interesting. But the cycle of main character being looked down on only to suddenly reveal how exceptional he is every time he does…anything.. is just way too overdone. We get it. Everyone will grovel to our oh so super special main character with no personality. “oh noo I never should have offended him he’s too secretly OP and the smartest ever and everyone else is dumb and ignorant compared to him!!!” Also another strange thing is that there are no female characters? I didn’t finish this so maybe there’s some later but there were literally none at all. Not even a female background character. It is weird to the point where u wonder if women exist in that universe? I don’t really care about the genders of characters in the first place but.. not even one???? I don’t know if the author has some male dominant patriarchal world going on or if it just happened that way but it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. and I’m no radical feminist either so it takes a lot for me to feel like something isn’t right lol. But I can’t say it’s sexist either bc there’s literally no women to be sexist towards. There’s literally no soul in this book and not a single likable character other than like, the main characters butler I guess. Idk read it yourself tho the writing itself isn’t too bad, the cultivation/magic is fun, it’s easy to understand, and the main character himself is tolerable even tho I feel he really lacks character depth. At least he isn’t an idiot. if you enjoy this type of book where the same thing happens over and over where everyone antagonizes or looks down on the main character for no reason only to get face slapped then you might rly like this lol
AW I’m sad but at least he doesn’t have to sneak around her anymore
If daphne isn’t already suspicious of him she will be now LOL
Ohhh so rather than the amount of mana it has to do with mental capacity. Interesting, I like this bc it reminds me of how intelligence stats in games usually help ur magic lol
Can he not turn the spell off and on at will to conserve mana?
Just like in every video game… ofc
It makes more sense that he would have conflicting viewpoints and two sides to him after two drastically different personalities come together. A gradual change in personality makes more sense than a sudden one. Although if he forever was like two people living in one body, that wouldn’t make sense either bc people develop and change over time regardless and realistically he would eventually have his own individuality with traits of both personalities but without a division between the two sides. But it’s a fantasy novel yk if you can’t wrap your head around it, you should read something more realistic in the first place. Technically speaking, transmigration is way more unrealistic since its impossible. But it’s still possible to have multiple conflicting personalities. (several mental illnesses have this symptom or ones similar to it)

I guess you could say it’s the ssssssystem
It was already explained by author a while ago when he first saw the beast option show up that controlling a beast/monster is unheard of so mc is probably the only one
They said you could increase charm a bit by other factors even tho it’s mostly what you’re born with- and I actually assumed bc his strength stat went up it made his charm naturally go up as well (having muscles is typically considered attractive etc)
