Wasnt really a flop, just didn't get good reviews, and made $100 million less than xmen on the same budget. Generally a movie needs to double the budget at the box office to be profitable, as the cinema takes gets 50%. so daredevil would have been close.

Quite a touching story. The mc is firm, empathetic, and relatable, though a bit of a blank slate and too perfect, however this perfection drives some of the emotional beats of the story. Author character assassinates multiple celebrities, which was a bit pessimistic, but it fits the themes of the story. A good translation, AI writing is obvious at some points. Most annoying Chinese novel tropes have been removed.

It's unrealistic. She's a foreigner who can't leave the village to make merits in the war, while at the time, jinchurki were seen as atomic bombs to be released, which isn't conducive to a stable leader. The other jinchuriki kage had control of their tailed beasts, (Naruto, Gaara, Yagura) I also assumed her desire to become hokage was to fit into the village, which she no longer needed that validation as an adult.
