All gods are mad in some way, there is just a line in between normal madness, and chaos. To get to where they are today, all of the powerful gods had a certain madness/obsession. But the snows are just chaotic, just because, no other reason or rhyme to it, and even more so if they they have an obsession. The snows are intrinsically connected to the abyss and so if you stare into the abyss the abyss stares back at you. To look upon insanity is to become insane, and to date one or have a relationship with one, well you have to be f***** in the head.

It would be nice if readers could have a representation of what sene and the others look like. I can imagine them as im reading but a face to a name would be better.
