If he keeps going at the pace he has been, he’d probably suffer a much bigger setback since as of right now, he doesn't take the world seriously.

0 is what leads to that happy ending in a lot more satisfactory way. However, seeing Okabe have PTSD was something else, along with 0 Okabe’s sacrifice. Tho, the return of Hyouin Kyoma made everything worth it.

You are correct on the Naberius part (Kinda surprised someone remembers he needs to pick up Kuroka and Koneko when he's around 12). As for him breaking into the Ultimate Class, yeah he will, and he'll have some more abilities too along with that.
