Chapter 27 That story the old woman told of wad so sad yet so accurate of human nature to cast judgment on anyone & anything as a target for their pain and hatred. The old lady who has lived long enough to share the tale blaming herself was so nice a touch... On to the next one!!!

This Blood Samurai is such a terrific read! Everytime Kiyoshi uses a new ability, the writer impresses me with that & the drawbacks each power comes with. Plus, I been waiting on a back story to kiyoshi but only being fed bits & pieces adds to the allure of an already engaging character who is a killing machine yet, an emotional person who is very new to some of his feelings. The writer gets that emotion draws in the reader & uses it well with his romantic interests & even giving tyrook a period of mourning for his fallen friend. It captivates & stimulates a wonderful work of fantasy & fiction when done properly. And Make no mistake, it was done properly.

So dude giving him missions is in fact his master & we finally get a look at his place of dwelling along with tempered info about kyoshis backstory. The colored orb reveals how important sairon actually is. But is it master as in he trained the boy? Or master as in he cursed the boy? Can't wait to hear this negro's whole backstory!

Honestly thought he would've killed her brother & their men. Seems he has control of himself though I thought he didn't. Especially when attacked. Thought Maxwell's son stabbing him was a one off because he was exhausted from all the fighting but he is in control throughout. Excellent read!

So typical for an army to cross the line. Love how kyoshi's a stranger to kindness. Those demons in his sword though. A 7000 yr old demon acting like a seven yr old! Lol

Remarkable read. Very engaging from beginning to present. The foreshadowing of Maxwell's son's return. The non hesitant action that Kyoshi takes. It is all very enthralling!!! Take a gander, you won't be disappointed.
