They get better, but they never really truly resolve. And coexistence brings about brand new issues, which get explored a little even later.

It’s speculation but I’m not the only one who predicts it. If a hero traveling with the monster lord and then killing her is a pattern, then logically that may have happened with Marcellus. Alice speaks briefly in the original game of how monster lords choose heirs, it’s implied that they travel with them and it ends in the death of the man in most cases.

Southern American here refers to the southern states like Georgia and Alabama and Texas. If you used a translator it might have come out as South Americans
I marveled at her different manner of speaking. On every world I'd been to, a person spoke basically the same on each world. But this Eden had a very flat, American-sounding accent. My Eden had sounded almost British. The Angel World Eden had had a slight southern American patrician accent. Iliasburg looked about the same as it had in every other world I'd been in. That being said, I'd lived a long time, long enough for Alice's world to look very much like Earth, thanks to interactions with my birth world and the importation of huge amounts of technology. So seeing Iliasburg as I had first seen it resulted in a feeling of nostalgia. It looked so rustic without the skyscrapers and cars and apartment buildings. I also noticed something strange. Actually, what was strange is how not strange it was. I'd expected the place to be quiet, with everyone boarded up in their homes. Granberia should have been here, terrorizing the place. No power it’s just that since they were evenly matched in a sword battle it came down to who wanted it more, this is a callback to the granberia ending in the original game, she challenges Luka to a sparring match and dominates him, noting that he’s only capable of winning when he’s fighting for something he believes in.
