Giving them straight money or jewelry might've been a better option, considering how jewelry can be smuggled out of the mansion more easily.

Well, I have to retract my previous statement. I forgot she had a sword in her stomach, so I get why she killed his buddy. Very convenient for him to leave out that detail when he told the story on, and I think it's really good that she's taken full responsibility for this. Not a lot of people ever do that :3

A few muffled whispers are heard. "We had no choice but to protect ourselves. And the result was me stabbing Eluf in the neck after he stuck a sword in my stomach. I almost died myself." Siv raises her head, a stern look takes a hold of her face. "So if you want to sit there and judge me for choosing my life over the man who tried to kill me, go right ahead. Well because some people here are sensible, y'know your Highness, ye can't repay almost death with death, especially when you were the one to start the loop. I still don't get why she was so set on killing Eluf in the first place, there are many more ways to knock a person out without costing them their life. She didn't even kill the royal lions, and those were some real royal ar.es

"Are you alright?" Siv nods. "I brought some ice from the ice room, it will help soothe the pain." Gary hands her a cold sac filled with uneven shapes of ice. She gently puts it on her neck but still grunts at the touch. "I'm sorry I should have kept an eye on Hakon, or I should have at least gotten there sooner." Siv studies his grim expression and puts her hand on his. She tries to tell him that it is not his fault, but no sound comes out. Suddenly, she feels a power get a hold of her, something strange and eclectic. A strong power that spreads through her whole body, rejuvenating every part of it. She opens her eyes, she feels invincible. - Neo_Yan1yrCommented

"You can't die here." The voice tells her. Siv wants to see who the person is, but her eyes wouldn't open. "You have to survive, Gene. I believe in you." The gentle voice echoes in Siv's head.
