Out the gate this story grabbed me and pulled me into the building sexual tension between Katie and Diego. I always love a bad boy, good girl mashup, coupled with being a teacher as well, I totally relate to Katie! It’s a must read!

Enthralling dark underworld of creatures, mixed with building sexual tension with an ending that makes you want more immediately. Vivian is a badass warrior; Everett a dark, secretive vampire - throw them together with a heavy dose of adventure and desire to get IN THE SHADOWS. A must read.
