How about we don't make guesses about stuff like this. For starters, that would be contradicting a lot of things so far. For example, the most recent thing that proves it's not the case to me is the fact Enigma said 'Varian you better die. Because if you don't, even if Sia tries to stop me I will kill you' after revealing he saw Sarah as a girlfriend of his. I doubt Sia would do this considering Sia is the one who said to do so in the first place. Even if it was just because she didn't want Varian to see her because she was worried, he would hate her, I doubt Sia would mind after some explaining.
