Here is my review after reading chapter 290 As much as I want to praise this novel. I just can't do it. It has an interesting premise with a colorful cast of personalities. However a few things I noticed: Most of the characters in this novel are either average or plain stupid but definitely not smart. This includes the main character Yuan who is not only the most talented in the whole novel but also a walking plot armor. He gets everything he needs with almost no struggle. Cultivation is a walk in the park for him even though he doesn't really know anything about it. The only upside about him is his humble personality but that's all. He is just good at everything without any explanation. I'm a genius because I'm a genius... Now that I mentioned the cons its time to say a few thinks about why I'm still reading the story even though it has many flaws: MLB has a certain writing style that makes you addicted and the main reason behind that is the unusual amount of dialogues. It gives you a feeling of continuous progression that just grabs your attention. The novel has a good writing quality. Updates are stable too. The plot wouldn't mind to see a little more plot twists. All in all. This story can make you excited for a while but an experienced reviewer or reader wouldn't stick with it.
