Such a good, simple story. To practice and do this type of writing style is hard, but the author achieved it with what felt like much simplicity. Would recommend 10/10. Character growth and development of the MC was smooth, and the build of the MC’s background as well as his progression in life is easy to keep up with and not understand and very well-written. Also the MC’s friends were also written very well. Usually I see a lot of extras and side character’s personalities be/become rude and overbearing, but their intentions and affection for the MC were clear as day. You can see their words come from a place of love, and not hurt (even with their minimal appearances). Overall, a very good short story. Would read again [img=recommend]
