Edit: ok apparently I misunderstood who was being pointed out as the death candidate, so to fix that: Selena could act as accomplice for her father’s murder, let alone for someone who isn’t even her husband but his brother (cousin, relative, idk)

Actually, I don’t think it’s that shocking. Selena just witnessed and assisted the murder of her own father to get away from the baggage left from when they sucked up to him, she’s more than capable of pulling strings to have her husband murdered for his wealth. After all, the only person who stands to gain the most from his death is Selena, no? There’s also a good chance Selena faked the cancer report and presented it to the family, bc even if the Cobbs are good people who don’t do illegal things, that principle doesn’t extend to an outsider who married in, let alone one who is a convicted felon as of less than a week ago.

If the following is true: Day 1: Funeral + Oliver’s Exile + Jake driving him to Marisa + presumably the scuffle Oliver was killed in (Jake never looked back so we didn’t see the realtime action Day 2: Marisa & co arrested? Day 3: Jake finds out about Oliver’s death and the arrest + presumably Tom also makes funeral arrangements (cremation) here Day 4: Oliver’s ashes are scattered + Nathan has a fit Day 3/4 might actually be the same day assuming they didn’t have an actual funeral, only the cremation, perhaps? Which would put Grandma’s date of burial to 1-2 days after the funeral itself
