Hey! Thank you for your honest feedback! You just made my day xD. As a new writer, you don't know how important comments like yours are. Well, I won't lie that I was inspired by Devil_Hex when writing this hehe (I will not copy him, though). His starting element is water because I barely saw anyone do anything with it, so why not try to push some boundaries with it? It will challenge me as the writer and it might be fun to you readers! Also, regarding future powers, I can't say much so as not to spoil it. But he will have interesting powers (I guarantee that he will honor the fanfic's title with style).
Kakashi's current appearance should be the one when he is 14 years old. I envisioned this image of him while writing the chapter (The Kakashi on the right).
Thanks for the suggestion! You came in clutch! I rewatched the classic Naruto series and was thinking of something along those lines when watching the Rasengan training again. Those episodes are such a gem for writers to strengthen their characters on chakra manipulation and Ninjutsu xD
Thanks for the suggestion! I was thinking of some of these, but you gave me great ideas as well.
Hey! Author here again with another chapter. What do you think of my writing, is it clear enough? I'd love some feedback from readers — after all, an author can only do so much alone. Thank you for your support and a great weekend for everyone!
Hey, guys! Author here again. Tell me your thoughts on the story until now, if there's something that might be lacking or one thing that I am stressing too much about. Right now I am focusing on detailing a lot because I think that's where the main point of my narrative comes from. Hope you guys enjoy it!
First, let me say this upfront: if you're used to the standard Naruto fanfiction fare, get ready for a change. A quick glance at the other reviews will confirm this for you—there's been a bit of a mixed reaction, to put it mildly. Imagine finding yourself thrust out of your own life into a whole new body, a new routine, new faces—all for no apparent reason. And to top it off, you're set down right into the middle of some sort of super soldier school, a place where everyone else seems to know the ropes, but you're just trying not to trip over them. Being honest to myself, if I were in their shoes, I'd be more than just a little stressed—probably an understatement, frankly. Now, wipe any thoughts of a Gary Stu protagonist from your mind because that's not what you're getting here. Our main character isn't some pre-packaged prodigy. This guy isn't used to threading a needle, let alone weaving intricate jutsu. He's the poster child for ordinary, and you're supposed to feel it. The man works his ass for every bit of progress he makes. He was a sheltered college kid before all this craziness, for god's sake. One of the most interesting things about this fic is how it brings depth and builds upon the Naruto universe. It delves into the inner conflicts brewing within the village, painting them in a way that fits seemingly perfectly with the original work. And let's not forget those third-person insights from the original characters—they're like little puzzle pieces that sometimes involve our protagonist, and sometimes just add to the chaos of Konoha. Now, let's talk about the supporting cast. These side characters aren't just placeholders. They're developed, not to the point of overkill (we've all had our fill of that), but with enough substance to engage us without overwhelming the plot. You won't find yourself pulled out of the story due to some sudden nonsensical moment or dialogue. The author keeps things grounded, logical, and satisfyingly real. Also, there's no sudden turn into Xianxia or Wuxia territory. If you've been put off by those shifts before, you're safe here. But here's the thing, a little heads-up: this story might touch on some sensitive topics. Don't worry, though, the author handles them with enough sensitivity, so that no one is left uncomfortable.
