No I'm like 99% sure I'd train it to be lazy and to troll people. Something is out of reach? Use some Ergo-telekinesis to grab it. My drink is too hot/cold? Worry not I'll just add/subtract some thermal energy. I can imagine myself just sitting on a bench and stealing someone's energy mid step and watching them ragdoll lol. Flying would be cool too.

If eating monsters and humans is going to be a big part of the novel you should be more descriptive with the gore. What was the texture of the meat like? Was the blood hot? Did the bone marrow spill as chewed on the bones? Where the veins stretchy? What where the organs like? Was there steam rising from the innards as he clawed the carcass open?

My clothes had already been a bit torn here and there after my fight with the goblin, and reason dictated that they would turn into rags completely after a few fights. I would fight naked if I had to, but I was no exhibitionist, so I would rather avoid that situation. - Nope_64666dCommented

It wasn't normal. It was made from Quinque Steel that was created from a processed ghouls kagune and RC solution. It's basically the material that makes up the Ghoul investigator's weapons.(Quinque steel would be used for the handles and the case I think) (add a Kakuhou to the mix and you get a investigators weapon)
