That's plain ridiculous. Author tries justify the whole by mere bs excuses and you gave out like 2 of 3 of these easy to refute arguments. 1. MC needs harsh training, he cant be trusted treated do that very decision on his own even though it was his friggin idea to be her disciple in the first place. 2. Cheat Collar just happens to come handy, when all is up to the Gods and his own God is basically putting him in this predicament and plot pretends like everything is a mistake LIKE come on dude, we thought the guy is OP, but now we get some plot hole filling handy cap.... 3. Author also tries to guilt trip the reader by showing how Celine was a torture victim herself and therefore all is good since "world aint fair y'know" .... like a psychopath would only buy that. But MC goes "oh yeah, cant be mad at her, I will only give her some lightly spanking when I'm big boi" as the good simp he is. Dont read if you value your time.
