in one of the chapters when she was a kid it was stated that wanted to first become the greatest sword master then marry Ren, now she is lying to herself that ren is a creep, or that he is annoying. another example is when Adam was at the orphanage and the girl with him said that it seemed that Mary was bragging about Ren's love for her. she is basically doing what some protagonist do in avoiding relationships before completing her goal, granted she is being horrible. she is avoiding her feelings, she is saying she finds Ren creepy to others and that he's not a good person, because she doesn't want people to be around him. she gives the excuse that it's for there own good but she wants to be Ren's only friend. most of this is what I interpreted based on some context Clue's so it might be false but the examples I give are proof that she still has at least some feelings for Ren.
