Is this what the Dud manor is actually focused on? Every other manor has a specialty except for Dud. Is the magic of the heart some kind of lost art or is it seen as more of a metaphor?
As an American, I conpletely agree that suburbs are an enormous waste of space. I much preferred the more closely packed style I saw when I lived in Europe.

Seems legit to me, can't write about another guy with a system.
I think because he was able to eliminate the toxins and the inefficiencies in the recipe he is able to make pills that don't damage potential.
If I understand correctly, Clara was never locked up in the church, she was always just at the school, probably just under heavy watch. I mean she was still a student, so she did have to go to classes.

It's entirely likely that even the author isn't sure what he just did. Sometimes you want something dramatic to happen, so you make it happen but leave the real consequences to be decided later when you have a better idea of what would be more interesting or useful. I do this sometimes, and usually it ends well.
That's gotta be one of the perks of living so long and having so many lives, just the sheer entertainment value your existence has for other people. Just imagine never running out of interesting and engaging stories.
I feel like that's kind of the point of doing a character like this. Using an "immortal" or "timeless" character like this one is usually done so you can abuse the concept and insert whatever knowledge and wisdom you want. Also, if you've lived that long, you have undoubtedly mastered the art if patience or you would just be utterly miserable.
