If we were to put that into jjk aspects, cursed energy and cursed techniques are the main power sources within the jjk world. I included cursed techniques too because there are people like yuuji who have cursed energy but no cursed technique. Anyways, we could treat devil fruits like cursed techniques and haki like cursed energy. While they are fundamentally different, they could work in the same way. The inverted spear of heaven can bypass gojo’s infinity so what’s to stop zoro’s sword from doing similar. This is just my opinion, idk how many people will agree 🤷

If i’m not mistaken, Sukuna got the world slash because mahoraga kept adapting. Mahoraga basically gave sukuna the idea of the world slash with his continous adaptations. What Mahoraga did first was alter his essence of his own cursed energy in order to neutralise the infinity. (If im not wrong, it’s what naohiro is doing right now). Anyways, Since sukuna was not able to do that, he waited for mahoraga to figure out something else, so it adapted once more. After he adapted, Sukuna then basically expanded his flying slashes to space and the world itself. (Infinity basically became useless because the space, the world, was torn apart).
