Good idea to give Alex some form of telepathy. With How strong martian manhunters mind powers are he definitely would track Alex down and possible withstand the ocean of blood that is Alex’s mind so it’s good that your giving him some sort of countermeasure against that

I like the story but the only issue I have is Emily , I can’t see any reason as to why the Mc needs a adopted daughter she doesn’t contribute anything and having nat now also increases that but overall everything else is good
