This plot is so BS. You're telling me the entire time the MC has been wondering about who betrayed him and he never once thought to think back to his third life and find out his memories were tampered with?

The Church Of Light are more demonic than this? They immediately kill anyone they suspect being a dark mage even if that person was a Saint before awakening. They've brainwashed the entire world to believe their ideologies and kill everyone who awakens darkness as it could harm their dominance.

No just give the MC a vision that secretly amplified by his own cheats. No need to make the MC too much of an outlier that it harms the plot.
