I’d have to disagree with you there. If you rank apprentice as being safer than the maurader pathway strictly because of the existence of Amon, then I could understand. However, if we’re just talking about the inherent dangers of the pathways themselves, I’d have to say that apprentice is the most dangerous of the three since its higher sequences expose one directly to the corruption of the cosmos. I agree that Seer is the safest of the three though. It’s more self sufficient.
There is always a price exacted for what fate bestows…
I love this novel a lot. I really appreciated the author’s honesty about his inspiration in the synopsis and the effort they have put into improving the story as we progress. The world that is described In this novel is very well put together and excellently executed. At the beginning it may seem a little disorganized but it is very much worth sticking with as the world and characters only get more and more fleshed out. 10/10 would highly recommend.
This is one of my favorite novels of all time. The world building is amazingly smooth and well thought out and the characters are well designed with great development along the way. I really appreciated the maturity of the MC: how he wasn’t a stereotypical, naive, bumbling, happy-go-lucky protagonist. Would highly recommend, this well worth the read.
