    Immortal, not invulnerable

Rock spikes impaled the survivors and acted like lightning rods, drawing the storm upon them so that not a single thunderbolt missed its target. The magnetite circuit allowed each natural lightning to strike at all the victims of Nova Mjolnir at the same time, dealing so much damage that not even immortal bodies could survive.

    Funny you should say that…

Noticing The World's astonishment, the corners of Audrey' s mouth curled up slightly, her eyes rolling upwards as she intentionally didn't make any explanation.

After this period of contemplation and adjustment, he inexplicably felt that the gap between his spirituality and the potion had reduced significantly, and there were signs of them slowly blending together.

I’d have to disagree with you there. If you rank apprentice as being safer than the maurader pathway strictly because of the existence of Amon, then I could understand. However, if we’re just talking about the inherent dangers of the pathways themselves, I’d have to say that apprentice is the most dangerous of the three since its higher sequences expose one directly to the corruption of the cosmos. I agree that Seer is the safest of the three though. It’s more self sufficient.

Perhaps one will only learn to cherish things after they have lost them. When the crimson receded and the sky turned golden-yellow from the flaming ball's illumination, Klein had made his choice.

I love this novel a lot. I really appreciated the author’s honesty about his inspiration in the synopsis and the effort they have put into improving the story as we progress. The world that is described In this novel is very well put together and excellently executed. At the beginning it may seem a little disorganized but it is very much worth sticking with as the world and characters only get more and more fleshed out. 10/10 would highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite novels of all time. The world building is amazingly smooth and well thought out and the characters are well designed with great development along the way. I really appreciated the maturity of the MC: how he wasn’t a stereotypical, naive, bumbling, happy-go-lucky protagonist. Would highly recommend, this well worth the read.
