I don't disagree, but it would change deadpools whole style of combat. og Deadpool throws himself headfirst into danger because he has no need to be concerned about his safety, however if he's on fire, he has to be a lot more cautious about not burning down a neighbourhood or killing the wrong guy. to much chance for accidental death to bystanders, innocent, and or important figures/witnesses.

not how regeneration works, as while he would heal, and due to extremis, would be immune to more extreme temperatures, it would still be a leap in logic to let him pull a human torch. besides, It ain't magic, he has to get the energy for regeneration from somewhere, best guess it would be like the flash in that he would have to consume a massive amount of food to be able to function.

you should have Peter take DNA from all the spider people he can find, really depends on if you have him meet up with other Spidermen at the dimensional spider hub early, as compared to a later ark, on how viable or time consuming that plan would be.
